When developing Q-Pulse a key necessity was to encourage ownership of the Compliance Management system across the organisation, which we achieve with the LaunchPad module.

A mechanism for each individual within the organisation to engage with the Compliance Management system. Only relevant information to each individual to encourage engagement with, and contribution to, the Compliance Management system. Each individual with the ability to refer, respond and react to information within the Compliance Management system. Encouragement to each individual to contribute to improvement ideas across the organisation, irrespective of their position or seniority. |
LaunchPad encourages users to interact with the system through a clear, easy to use interface. Information and functionality is relevant and available at the point of need.
It acts as a portal to the Compliance Management system and offers one window which highlights changes to and actions from the management system, giving a quick view of how well the system is being maintained and which actions remain outstanding. Users can suggest changes or improvements to processes, equipment, material, etc. Visibility of outstanding activities and suggestions indicate the level of staff participation allowing problem areas to be addressed. Users also have the ability to re-organise information into virtual folders that are relevant to them.
To address the issue of ownership we had to overcome the challenge of making people engage with the Compliance Management system. The flexibility of LaunchPad provides for incisive use of the compliance system and helps to keep individuals engaged with the management system.
We are delighted with the LaunchPad module and the results it delivers and see it as a terrific solution to the age-old problem of achieving ownership.
